After a very successful project in 2017, Under Sun Acres has now completed phase two of a new 25-acre state-of-the-art glass pepper greenhouse range. This project was made in conjunction with a new natural gas co-gen station to supply power to the grid while using the heat and CO2 produced in the greenhouses.
Zwart provided a variety of systems to meet Under Sun Acres' goal of operating a cogeneration greenhouse system with a closed-loop water supply and filtration.
Foliera Inc. was presented with an opportunity for growth with the acquisition of a second farm. A decision was made to retrofit with a flood floor and irrigation system, both designed to meet all current needs while also forecasting future farm development.
