For as long as the greenhouse industry has utilized rolling racks, it has been shipping product to garden centers on them. One of the largest problems that the retail garden center deals with is that the product they receive from the growers is too dry. The store is not equipped to care for them the way that they should, and the crop starts to degrade immediately on the store shelves.
Cart watering tunnels allow you to roll a train of carts through the watering tunnel to hydrate all the plants before they go out on the trucks so that they arrive at retail ready to sell.
This is an efficient way to water multiple plants that were selected all over the greenhouse before they are shipped. Zwart Systems can also design a recirculation package so that minimal water is wasted during this process.

Water Storage & Irrigation Systems | UnderSun Acres II
After a very successful project in 2017, Under Sun Acres has now completed phase two of a new 25-acre state-of-the-art glass pepper greenhouse range. This project was made in conjunction with a new natural gas co-gen station to supply power to the grid while using the heat and CO2 produced in the greenhouses.
The filter we installed in 2016 has not required any maintenance since its installation. We’ve been very pleased with this equipment and will continue to use Zwart in multiple applications moving forward.
